Milling long timbers with the Alaskan Chainsaw Mill has always involved a more complicated first cut set up due to the longer lengths. With the recent availability of laser levels and the EZ Rail guide system, this has been simplified. Our EZ rail kits come in 5 foot and 9 foot sections. This procedure can be done using any combination of different EZ rail lengths.
